A Little Cheese and Gas
July 9 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
This ride starts with a challenging climb and includes a rather technical descent.
Park on the street at the end of Las Virgenes Rd. We’ll start with the “apartment climb”, a trail that meets up with Pump Hill near the top. Then we’ll turn right on Cheseboro Canyon/Sulphur Springs. At Shepherd’s Flat we’ll turn right and head down Gaspipe, aka Sheep Corral Trail, to Las Virgenes Fireroad. If the group still has the desire, we’ll add on Crazy Snake in Ahmanson Ranch.
We ask that you BRING A SIGNED WAIVER or email it to us at email@example.com. You only need to do this once.
You can DOWNLOAD our waiver by going here:
Meet at the Upper Las Virgenes Cyn Open Space Preserve trailhead. It is located north of the 101 Freeway off Las Virgenes Road where it dead ends.
You must always come prepared with a bike in good working condition, water, a helmet, as well as any protective gear you deem necessary. It’s a good idea to bring trail food if you haven’t eaten in the last few hours. You should bring an extra innertube in case of a flat.
We always host “no drop” rides. This means we won’t leave anyone behind. We always welcome new riders and, for night rides, we might have a loaner riding light if you call in advance.
Mountain biking has its inherent risks, including serious injury or death. Your participation is an acknowledgment of those risks and an assumption of liability. Riding at night requires sufficient lighting. We recommend a light with a minimum of 1000 lumens.
Please RSVP so we know who to expect. If you are seeing event on our website calendar, go to our Facebook page to RSVP. https://www.facebook.com/JRABikesAndBrew/events
