Chivo Canyon Ride
March 5 @ 6:45 pm - 9:00 pm
Take the 23 Fwy north to 118 Fwy. East on 118 to Yosemite. Exit at Yosemite and turn left. Turn right on Evening Sky Dr and head up the street until you reach the trailhead on the left.
A mix of rocky singletrack and fireroads, this ride will be demanding for a beginner. We will take occasional rest stops and regroup at intersections. BRING YOUR LIGHTS!
We ask that you BRING A SIGNED WAIVER OR EMAIL it to us at email@example.com. You only need to do this once.
You can DOWNLOAD our waiver by going here:
We always host “no drop” rides. This means we won’t leave anyone behind. We always welcome new riders. You must always come prepared with a bike in good working condition, water, a helmet, as well as any protective gear you deem necessary. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RIDES. It’s a good idea to bring food if you haven’t eaten in the last few hours. You should also bring an extra inner-tube in case of a flat.
Each person is responsible for determining if their riding skills match the difficulty of the terrain they are riding on. Each person is responsible for their own safety on the ride. In addition, each rider is responsible for their own bike, its maintenance as well as the protective equipment they choose to wear.
Cycling has its inherent risks, including serious injury or death. Your participation is an acknowledgment of those risks and an assumption of liability. Riding at night requires sufficient lighting. We recommend a light with a minimum of 1000 lumens. For night rides, we might have a loaner riding light if you call the shop in advance.
Please RSVP so we know who to expect. If you are seeing event on our website calendar, go to our Facebook page to RSVP. https://www.facebook.com/JRABikesAndBrew/events
