Rocky Mountain Bikes Shop Ride

Here’s your chance to take a Rocky Mountain Bike out on our shop ride! We have the following bikes/sizes to choose from:
SM, LG, XL PIPELINE
LG ALTITUDE
MD INSTINCT
LG INSTINCT BC Edition

Call us in advance to reserve a bike. Be at the shop at 7:30am sharp to get set up on your bike. WE ARE RIDING TO THE TRAILHEAD AND LEAVE AT 8AM. Call the shop for more details. 818-991-1572

ROUTE:
We’ll ride up Cheseboro/Sulfur Springs to Shepherd’s Flat.
Then turn right and head down Gaspipe.
We’ll climb back out and ride back to the shop.

Gaspipe is a technically challenging trail with steep, rocky descents and lots of ruts. Be prepared with the appropriate bike and riding skill.

You must always come prepared with a bike in good working condition, water, a helmet, as well as any protective gear you deem necessary. It’s a good idea to bring something to eat if you haven’t eaten in the last few hours. You should bring an extra innertube in case of a flat.

We always host “no drop” rides. This means we won’t leave anyone behind. We always welcome new riders however we do recommend that you have good bike handling skills and appropriate fitness for the ride distance.

Bicycling has its inherent risks, including serious injury or death. Your participation is an acknowledgment of those risks and an assumption of liability. Riding at night requires sufficient lighting. We recommend a light with a minimum of 1000 lumens.
